Itinerary

(Day 1-2)

  • Day 1: Arrival to Buenos Aires and welcome dinner (share your flight ticket for airport pickup)
  • Day2: City tour in Buenos Aires with a local tour guide exploring most attractive places, museums, squares, shops, and colorful neighborhoods. After having lunch we will be back to hotel to get ready for night tango show and dinner

(3-6)

  • Day 3: morning flight from Buenos Aires to El Calafate (BUE – FTE), driving 1 hour to our Estancia (country side farm) our home for next 3 nights, let’s see what surprises are prepared for us by the lodge !!
  • The experience we will have here is like visiting a dear friend’s house, who has been long expecting your visit and has everything ready for your stay. Every day personalized activities will be organized, such us hikes; bike rides; horseback riding and picnics set in stunning places, only known by locals. One can also join the local gauchos on horseback to do the daily work with the cattle. The idea is to have a unique gaucho experience in a real estancia (Gaucho is the nomadic horseman of Argentina)
  • We will have experience of quincho for Patagonian asados typical charcoal grill roast, especially a whole lamb
  • Day 4: Not far from this area, we will have a full day glacier hike at the famous Perito Moreno Glacier
  • Day5: Free day, we recommend you go and enjoy the place around, or we can have bike tours arranged by the estancia lodge, other suggestion might be lake fishing if you would like to

(6-8)

  • Day 7: Checking out from Estancia and driving 3-4 hours road trip to El Chalten
  • Checking in our forest igloos in El Chalten for next 2 nights, be ready to get disconnected from social media to get connected to mother nature.
  • Day 8: During these 2 nights, we will do the most famous hike to Patagonia mount Fitz Roy (Laguna de los Tres), the hike will take around 8 hours, so there is a shorter guided hike option for less fitness people who just want to enjoy walking in beautiful nature (Laguna Capri)

  • Day 9: Driving back to El Calafate for overnight stay exploring the town before heading back to Buenos Aires

(9-10)

  • Day 9: Fly back from El Calafate to Buenos Aires (FTE – BUE) for farewell dinner and overnight stay
  • Day 10:Β  Departure day, today we say Goodbye Argentina Β πŸ‡¦πŸ‡·Β  we leave nothing but good memories

Useful information

  • February is the perfect summer time in Patagonia. However, The average temperature varies between 5-19 degrees Celsius, which makes it very pleasant for hiking and outdoor activities. With possibility of winds and rains
  • Always have your waterproof jacket with you
  • Layering is always recommended as you’re going in and out from places to another.
  • If you are allergic to any kind of food, kindly let us know in advance so we can take that into consideration
  • Suggested flight: Air france, direct from Paris to Buenos Aires (we can help you with bookings)
  • Some citizenships who have US visa can do an online waiver to enter Argentina without visa (check online or contact us for help)

  • Waterproof Hiking Boots.

  • Waterproof/wind breaker jackets and pants or rain coat

  • Thermals underwears.

  • Warm slipper shoes (for the car and hotel)

  • Warm clothing and socks.

  • Warm gloves, hat, ear muffs.

Payment method:

  • 10% – uponΒ booking
  • 40% – to be paid 1 month after your booking
  • 50% – to be paid 1 month prior to the trip

Cancellation policy

  • 20% of trip cost is non refundable for any reason
  • 50% of trip cost will be charged for cancellation less than 60 days before trip date
  • Full amount will be charged for cancellation less than 30 before trip date
