Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival & Welcome to Madeira

Arrive at Madeira Airport (FNC), where your private transfer will take you to your hotel in Funchal (approx. 20–30 minutes).

We recommend arriving by midday so you can settle in and enjoy your first moments on the island at your own pace.

In the evening, we gather for a welcome group dinner in Funchal — the perfect start to your Madeira journey.

Day 2 – East Madeira: Mountains, Villages & Coastal Cliffs

Discover Madeira’s dramatic eastern landscapes, starting with panoramic mountain viewpoints and scenic drives through lush valleys.

Visit traditional villages including Santana, known for its iconic triangular houses, and enjoy a countryside lunch experience.

In the afternoon, explore the stunning coastal cliffs of Ponta de São Lourenço — a highlight of the island featuring dramatic ocean views and optional light hiking.

End the day with sunset views before returning to Funchal for dinner.

Day 3 – West Madeira: Coastlines & Natural Pools

A full scenic journey along Madeira’s wild west coast.

Stop at charming fishing villages before visiting the famous Cabo Girão Skywalk, one of Europe’s highest sea cliffs.

Continue through coastal towns and enjoy a relaxed lunch by the ocean.

The highlight of the day is Porto Moniz, home to natural volcanic swimming pools where you can relax, swim, and enjoy the unique scenery before returning via the scenic north coast.

Day 4 – Forest Walks & Relaxed Funchal Exploration

Begin the day with an easy and beautiful walk along one of Madeira’s famous levadas, surrounded by lush forest and valley views.

Enjoy a countryside lunch stop before returning to Funchal.

The afternoon is free to explore the city — stroll the marina, shop in the old town, or take the optional cable car to Monte for panoramic views.

Day 5 – Madeira Experience Day

Today is dedicated to choosing your own Madeira experience.

Based on weather conditions, group size, and availability, two activities will be selected for the day, allowing you to enjoy the island in the way that suits you best.

We will Choose from:

* Whale & Dolphin Watching
A signature Madeira experience in the deep Atlantic waters, known for frequent sightings throughout the year.
* Canoeing / Kayaking along the coast
A peaceful and scenic way to explore hidden caves, cliffs, and crystal-clear waters.
* Monte Cable Car & Toboggan Ride
A classic Madeira experience combining panoramic views with a unique traditional sled ride through the streets of Funchal.
